So I have been pretty busy with work and travel. I have cleaned up the table I work at and am now ready to dive into some new works. Moving to New York has been a pretty crazy experience. I wasn't sure if it was a good move for the longest time. I gave up a great place to make art in Minneapolis and left some of the best people I know. I have however managed to find myself in a good spot in Brooklyn with people I love. I am now just starting to feel like I am settled down and can really attack and get going on making art on a regular basis. Life is too short to get upset up on the things we don't have or the things that have changed in our lives. Ultimately we are the ones in control of our bodies and our actions. So look out, and keep looking.

Thanks to all my RSE family! I feel blessed to work with all of you. Thanks much.

Just trying to figure out how I feel about all this.. If you live in New York and want to check out my windows go to Macy's in midtown. my good friends eric inkala and ben olson also have windows. Go midwest in midtown.

2 seperate projects from the past meet up.

My friend jimmy just sent me this photo of his car parked in front of a mural I did. I painted both pieces in 2008, but this is the first time they have meet up. Here is the photo, links to the process videos below. Thanks jimmy.

I had the opportunity to fly back to my Minneapolis and paint this gigantic picture. I am almost done with the video, so check back soon. Hope you enjoy and spread the word. Thanks. Click on the photos to view the rest of them on my flickr page.

Drawing NIGHT starts

Myself and two good friends and artists have started a drawing night. I will post their work as well as mine. I only have photos of my work from our first night of doing this. Enjoy.

I have been out for awhile. I was on tour with the Rhymesayers family for the last 5 months. Got home to Minneapolis crushed out this painting with artist Shawn McNulty for a colab show at Fox Tax. I then packed up my studio and stuff and moved to Brooklyn.

Well I have be away for awhile. I have been drawing a lot in my sketch book and trying to translate those drawings into paintings. I am also working on a mural with some really good friends at the Alternative Bike & Board shop on Lyndale and lake street.

ALMOST HOMELESS FINAL VIDEO and im not good at this blog thing.

Well looking at the calendar my schedule is somewhat hectic. not so much with art but with traveling and other things. it has been too long since i have been at the studio. i must leave minneapolis one more time for work. not complaining by any means but it would be nice to have a regular routine of being home. that being said, the art i have been working has pleased me. i just need to buckle down and hit it. if you haven't seen the final video of our 'almost homeless' show at first amendment check it out.
